US Charges 2 COVID-19 Research Cyber-spies for British& US Hacks

US Officials have charged two Chinese men who allegedly spied on US companies doing coronavirus research and got help from state agents for other thefts.

The indictment comes amid a US crackdown on Chinese cyber espionage.The UK, US and Canada last week accused Russia of seeking to steal research related to COVID-19.

Li Xiaoyu and Dong Jiazhi who are 34 and 31 respectively allegedly stole trade secrets worth several millions of dollars.It has been mentioned that the plot began in 2009.
