British Columbia Hospital Racial Game Investigation

British Columbia Hospital Racial Game Investigation

Investigation are currently on going based on allegations that hospital staff played a racist ‘game’ to guess blood-alcohol level of Indigenous patients in the emergency rooms.  Health Minister Adrian Dix has hired an independent investigator.  Mary-Ellen Turpel-Lafond, a former judgein British Columbia has been appointed to investigate.

Physicians and nurses try to guess the blood-alcohol level of incoming patients they presumed to be Indigenous as closely as they could, without going over, giving the name of the game “”The Price Is Right.” . What is further disturbing is “The Price is Right”, is just one game.
