Car Sales In New Zealand On The Rise

Car manufacturers are reporting a positive rebound in vehicle sales and a potential return to pre-coronavirus figures. 

BMW has reported “significant sales success” in the first half of 2020, despite Covid-19related restrictions. 712 new BMWs have been registered on Kiwi roads tha tis more registered vehicles than during the same six-month period in 2019; with 159 vehicles registered in June2020 alone.

Majority of the car sales have been electrified vehicles with BMW also recently unveiling their 2021iX3, which is a fully electric SUV.  Mini and Suzuki have also had impressive sales figures in the first half of 2020 despite the pandemic.
